4. Licensing

4.1. Token Licensing

APEX DX uses dynamic token licensing for all features. Tokens are available as Node-Locked (local) or Host Server licenses that are installed by your system administrator. Tokens are automatically checked out when a feature is used if tokens are available on your system. To remove tokens, open the file menu and remove uncheck the features that are not being used. DX will restart after features have been removed.

4.1.1. Tokened Features

  • DX Basic - 5 Tokens
  • Aeromechanical Toolkit - 10 Tokens
  • Rotating Machinery Toolkit - 10 Tokens
  • Automatic Response Detection - 12 Tokens
  • Limits - 3 Tokens
  • Parameter Merge - 10 Tokens
  • Batch Processing - 20 Tokens

Total tokens avalable is also avalable to see at the bottom of the token manager for helping keep track of token count. If the number of tokens required is above that of the token count, DX will dissallow the selected features from being check out.
